Well, as a child I dreamed of finding a real place and not imagined or fictitious, like this ... Until today!
La Petite-Pierre, in France
La Petite-Pierre is a French town located in the Alsace region. Its population does not reach a thousand inhabitants but it has really beautiful streets, neat, clean and adorned with all kinds of floral ornamentation.
In this small town the Bastion stands out or 'château' and its Church of Notre-Dame.

Bagnone, in Italy
Bagnone is another small town, located in the Tuscany region (I am in love with this Italian region!), Specifically with the province of Massa-Carrara. It has just over 2.000 inhabitants And what I like the most about it is that it is located as in a kind of rocky hill, where its houses and floors are made of vast stone and from one sidewalk to another can be crossed thanks to the typical stone and verdigris bridges.
Rothenburg, in Germany
Rothenburg is much larger than the other two towns that we have seen so far, both in population and in area. In fact it is not a town, it is a city of the Federated State of Bavaria, in Germany.
Round the 11.000 inhabitants and has 3 tourist attractions:
- Su historical Center: Surrounded by medieval architecture and perfectly preserved, we find cobbled streets and squares with half-timbered houses.
- La Sankt Jakob Church: Built in the Gothic style between 1311 and 1485.
- Their walls: It has a walled enclosure in the shape of an "eight" (8), two double bastions and on its stone we can find an engraving that reads the following (in German): "Peace to those who enter, prosperity to those who leave."
Now, why do I consider Rothenburg a town, in this case a city, like something out of a Disney story? Because if you walk through its streets you will see houses and apartments painted with bright and cheerful colors, and the fact that its roads are made of cobblestones makes it even more charming ... In addition, rare is the window of the house that you find without adorning with flowers. Beautiful this city!
Bled, in Slovenia
If there is something in Bled that makes this town look charming in many of the photographs captured by travelers, it is its great glacial lake, and in the center of it, a little island with a Church.
I think the images speak for themselves but we are going to delve a little deeper into this place. It is located in the Julian Alps, specifically in northwestern Slovenia. The village around 6.000 inhabitants, which they can enjoy throughout the year sports activities, such as golf, fishing, horse riding, and / or hiking through the mountains and trails that are around it.
Something curious about this town is that it has been visited by great figures of the aristocracy (perhaps because it is a remote place, perhaps because its surroundings and location make it an appropriate place for a rest retreat…).
The village of Shirakawa, in Japan
In Shirakawa, mountains and forests occupy 96% of the territory, the remaining 4% is for farmland. With this information, I think you can already imagine what we can find in this town ... All green during the short summer time that there is in the place and all white when it snows ... And the truth, whether it is snowed or not, leaves super pretty pictures of a dream place.
