Banje Beach (Dubrovnik)

This is the most popular beach in the city and one of the most beautiful on the planet. Although it is not very large, it allows you to enjoy the Croatian sun and offers incredible views of the walls of Dubrovnik and the next island of Lokrum.

This beach is very lively as it perfectly combines being a beach destination in a historic city. A lot of people come to it, attracted by its crystalline waters, its sports activities, its bars and its fun nightlife.

Getting to Banje beach is easy. It is located at the eastern entrance of the historic center in front of the Puerta de Ploce. Then you only have to walk ninety meters to the beach.

Zlatni Rat (Island of Brac)

It is in all likelihood the most popular beach image in Croatia because of its golden horn shape that changes at the tip depending on the tides and wind. Zlatni Rat is a surfer's paradise as there is always wind and they can practice their favorite water sport at all times. In fact, on this beach you can find diving and windsurfing schools. It is located in Bol, a peaceful town south of the island of Brac. This is one of the islands closest to Split, so much so that it allows the possibility of taking an excursion to spend the day.

The ferry to Zlatni Rat departs from Supetar, a fishing village dedicated to fishing, agriculture and tourism. The frequency of the ferries is one hour or one hour and a half.

Beaches of Proizd (Korcula)

With white sand beaches, deep blue waters and secret coves, Proizd is a dream on Earth. It is located on the uninhabited island of Korcula, which you must take a boat from Vela Luka to get there. Three beaches known as Bili Boci and the northern part of the island stand out in particular. From them you can see the profile of the nearby island of Hvar and the open sea. In high season, when there is a greater number of tourists, a restaurant is opened next to the pier to serve them and the ferry service is daily.

As a curiosity, Forbes magazine included it in the top ten of the best beaches in the world for its calm waters, fresh air and the shade offered by the pine trees that surround it and its white sand. Like most of the beaches in Croatia, Punta Rata is pebbled and has a very complete tourist complex of bars, restaurants and water activities for all tastes and ages.

Pakleni Islands (Hvar)

The Pakleni Islands are a set of 20 small islands and islets off the Island of Hvar. They are an excellent option for those looking to explore new beaches as there are something for everyone. In addition, among other activities to do, we can highlight visiting the Palmizana marina on the island of St. Klement, the Jerolim nudist beach, its wonderful funds for diving or the famous Carpe Diem club to enjoy the night.

In about 20 minutes you can reach these islands using the boat taxi services or other boats that take you to them.

Stiniva Beach (Vis Island)

Stiniva is a beautiful and secluded cove only 30 meters long hidden among the rocks of the Croatian coast. It is located to the south of the island of Vis, of only 90 square kilometers and about 3.000 inhabitants, very close to the town of Marina Zemlja. It can only be accessed by boat or via a narrow path that starts from the village of Podšpilje, so it has been preserved practically intact.

The waters of Stiniva Beach are crystal clear and the sand is made up of small, light-colored pebbles. It is the perfect place to take a dip and enjoy the Adriatic breeze. As access to this place is not easy, it is not overcrowded, becoming a paradisiacal place where more than one would like to miss a season.
