Honduras It is a nation that in relation to its traditions has an extremely picturesque character, which is clearly a plus for all types of tourists whose purpose is to be able to visit a really happy Central American nation both in environment and also in its geographical characteristics. Let us recognize just a few of the most important traditions to be found in this beautiful land.

To begin with, there are many traditional holidays that are usually rescued from Honduras, having during each month of the year more than five of these in different regions of the country, each of these having its own reason for being and peculiarity.

It is in this way that, for example, we can count on the so-called guancasco, which are more than anything indigenous-type traditions in which the friendly meeting between two neighboring peoples or tribes was celebrated, where one of them received the presents of the other and a great festival of union and mutual joy was originated. It is also worth highlighting the Isidra de La Ceiba Fair, an event that lasts a week and culminates with the Great Ceiba Carnival, also called the Friendship Carnival.

Another important fair is the August Fair in Puerto Cortés, where gondolas and boats parades on the lakes of the bay.

After the Spanish colonization, a great christian religious tradition, which is reflected in the large number of churches that can be found in different parts of the entire nation.
