We all know the 7 Wonders of the World, and recently a contest had been held to find out about the new wonders, by voting on the Internet, so that it was popularly chosen which ones would be on the list. Well, in the same way, the contest was held to know the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.

These natural wonders they are spaces in which man has had nothing to do with it, unlike the Wonders of the World, which are monuments in general. These places are in the middle of nature, and in principle there were more than a hundred wonders, which were reduced to 28 finalists, of which only 7 remained.

1-Iguazu Falls

These falls are inside the Iguazú Natural Park, in the north of the Province of Misiones, in the Republic of Argentina, and they also occupy part of the Brazilian state of Paraná. They have 275 jumps, of which the most popular is the Devil's Throat. There are different ways to enjoy these falls, with canoes and boats that run through the final part of the falls, walkways to enjoy the views of the falls, and tourist trains that move through the most significant areas of the park.

But not only do we find incredible natural landscapes, but also a region in which there are more than 300 different ethnic groups, many of them still isolated.

This large volcanic island located in South Korea has been named by UNESCO: Natural Heritage of Humanity, Global Geopark and Biosphere Reserve. It is not surprising that it is on this list although not everyone is familiar with it. In the landscape of the island you can find hundreds of craters, which are called oreum there. Hallasan was the main volcano in the middle of Jeju Island. Inside the island you can visit incredible places, such as the Manjanggul lava tube, in its first section, or the Jusangjeolli cliffs, very similar to the Giant's Causeway, located in Northern Ireland.

4-Komodo National Park

This park is located in the Indonesian Archipelago, formed by three large islands, Rinca, Padar and Komodo, which gives it its name. There are also other small islands of volcanic origin. If there is something that stands out in this natural park, it is the giant lizard called the Komodo Dragon, since it reaches over 3 meters. The visit to the park involves observing, albeit from a distance, these dragons, since they are somewhat aggressive animals and are protected. But this park is much more, with coral reefs, green landscapes and a great diversity of flora and fauna.

The Puerto Princesa National Park is in the Palawan island in the Philippines. It is one of those destinations that surprise for its peculiarities, which we cannot find anywhere else. It stands out because its river crosses a rocky and underground area to reach the sea. The best thing is that you can navigate this part of the river, to discover the cave with incredible shapes in the rocks, carved by the water through the centuries. The end of the river ends in an area of ​​vegetation and beaches, an idyllic place to spend the day.

This is a great tourist destination whose photos will sound familiar to all of us. It is also a World Heritage Site, and is located in Vietnam, in Quang Ninh. The area of ​​the bay covers more than 1.500 square meters, and in it we can see small islands and peculiar rock formations. Despite growing tourism in the area, the four fishing villages can still be seen, many of whom live on houseboats. If we look carefully at a map we will realize that it is a real labyrinth full of small islands to discover.

If you have ever seen photographs of Cape Town in South Africa, surely you have noticed the mountains in the background that dominate everything. This is Table Mountain, located in the natural park with the same name. It is a very touristy place, and you can visit it by taking excursions to reach the top or by using the cable car. This plateau is flanked by the well-known Devil's Peak on the east and the Lion's Head on the other side. From this mountain the views of Cape Town are truly impressive, and there are many activities on it, such as excursions and hiking.
