In the XNUMXth century, a commercial port was built that ends this isolation and transforms this neighborhood into the residence of sailors and fishermen, as it is known today, as an old fishermen's neighborhood, which was the main trade in the city. . In recent decades this area has been revitalized and has gained importance for its history. Buildings have been rehabilitated and their presence has been improved because it is a very tourist spot.
