Louise's works are incredible, amazing. This artist, who died in 2010, was one of the most influential of the XNUMXth century. It was so innovative that every time you see one of her works it is as if you were seeing an open book, some pages that tell you a personal story, a story of the artist's own life. Looking a little more maybe find yourself.

The exhibition presented by the Guggenheim Museum is called "The Cells", of which he made approximately 60 throughout his career, including the first five pieces in the series, which began with "Articulated Den" in 1986. Each cell addresses an emotion, such as fear or insecurity. Presented with a set of furniture, sculptures, clothing and objects, it has a strong emotional charge, to the point that it can be difficult to take your eyes off it.

And that's not to mention that the human mind will surely immediately begin to imagine things about Bourgeois's past.

In the exhibition you will see the following:

  • Cells Portrait, where a person is shown, but not only the body, but also the character he had can be intuited.
  • I give it all, which are six engravings that he made in 2010 with the collaboration of the editor Benjamin Shiff.
  • Articulated lair, considered by the artist as the first of her cells. It is characterized by having a "lair" that refers to the refuge of an animal, hidden and protected, and in the center there is a black stool surrounded by black rubber objects that hang from the ceiling. It also has a door through which you can escape.
  • Chamber of wonders, which are different sculptures, models and drawings that he made between 1943 and 2010. All of them helped them to shape their worst thoughts, their nightmares, as if they could get rid of them.
  • Dangerous Passage is a story from his childhood, where objects such as desks or swings are mixed with animal bones preserved in plastic spheres that remind us of the cycle of life and death and with a steel spider and mirrors.
  • Cells I-VI, which are spaces where physical and emotional pain is delved into.
  • Red Room (Child) and Red Room (Parents), both from 1994. These two cells are related to each other. In the first, a bed is shown with everyday objects from the artist's childhood and childhood, such as the needles that her parents used in their textile workshop. In the second, a neat, more intimate bedroom is shown.

Enjoy this work until the September 2 of 2016.

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was a man born in Pittsburgh and died in New York somewhat strange. It was said of him that he was attracted to the boring, and that he also thought that his art was not such, but rather "disco decoration". The exhibition presented by the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, It is based on a photograph of a shadow in your office. No one would say that you can make art with a shadow, but this man did. Boy he did.

The 102 works shown are paintings on canvas, made between 1978 and 1980. There are 102, but it is actually only one, divided into several parts. Each of them has its own range of colors, but with the same shade. Therefore, we could think that they are the same, but we would be wrong: in each painting a space is revealed, which directs the gaze towards the light.
