The inhabitants of Bisevo know of the existence of the Blue Cave (The Blue Cave) since ancient times, but it wasn't until 1884 that someone set out to seriously explore it. Dynamite was used to turn what was a narrow crevasse into something like an inlet from the sea. Until then, this blue treasure was only accessible by diving.

The intense and brilliant blue color that makes this cave a magical place reaches its zenith around noon. All thanks to the incidence of the sun's rays on the limestone in the background. It is at that moment when it is understood that it is worth all the trouble we have taken to get there.
