However, they are only gossip, because it is proven that its bottom is eight meters deep. On the first Sunday of August, the swimming crossing of the Black Lagoon is celebrated every year, an event in the area.

How to get to the Black Lagoon

Getting to the Black Lagoon is easy because it is well indicated, since it is a place that in recent years has had a greater influx. The best way to get there is from the town of Vinuesa, a town near Soria. If we leave from this city, we have to take the N-234 road and take the detour towards Cidones by the SO-810 until Vinuesa. Once in the town we have to take the forest track that is in the area behind the town, before the Revinuesa river. Follow this track and you arrive at Laguna Negra car park where you can leave your car. Leaving the car in the parking lot has a low cost, which also usually includes the possibility of visiting the Vinuesa Forest Museum.

From this car park there are two options, depending on whether we are willing to walk or prefer the more comfortable version. We can do the way on foot and they are two kilometers or take the bus which brings us closer to the lagoon. However, it must be said that this bus is only available from July to September, that is, in high season. the rest of the time we will have to walk to the lagoon. Buses run every half hour. From the place where the bus drops you, there are only a few meters on foot to the lagoon.
