Kastrup Airport is the most important in all Denmark and one of the busiest in terms of traffic in the entire northern area of ​​Europe. It is also the oldest in the city, having been inaugurated in 1925. At the airport there are three terminals, which are connected by a bus service to make it easier for passengers to get from one to another. This service is free, so that we can move from one place to another at no cost.

This airport operates mainly with the company Scandinavian Airlines System. However, there are also many other companies such as Lufthansa, Finnair or Danishair. It has many international destinations to places like Canada or the United States. They also have a wide variety of European destinations, such as Berlin, Vienna or Helsinki, among many others.

At present its main function is that of local flights, air taxis or that of serving as a place for flight practices, although the possibility of allocating it to some low-cost or charter flights is being studied.
