There are many cruise companies that touch different ports on this inland sea and how to organize this type of trip is not something we do from one day to the next, today we have some of the cruises for the 2016/2017 season. MSC Cruises 2016
MSC has several options for the month of August but let's go to the cheapest offer: from 869 euros per person, cups and flights included. This trip is aboard the MSC Opera and it is a category four-star cruise that lasts eight days. As I said, it includes flights to the departure port and transfers and is full board.
The trip begins with the flight from Madrid or Barcelona to Copenhagen which is where the boat leaves from. You have time to visit the city and its attractions as the cruise departs at 6 in the afternoon. On the second day the cruise arrives in the city of Warnemunde at eight o'clock. It is an old fishing village that today lives off cruise tourism. As the ship leaves at 7 in the afternoon, you have time to walk around and see a picturesque lighthouse.
The third day is totally on board since it is a sailing day. On the fourth day you get to Helsinki, Finland, averaging 9 a.m. You stay until 4 in the afternoon and of course it is a day to walk around and get to know the city, its attractions and its gastronomy. After spending the night on board, sailing, the cruise ship arrives in the beautiful city of San Petersburgo, the Venice of the North, the city of bridges, the city of Peter the Great.
You have ten hours to enjoy this Russian city, long enough not to miss the highlights. On day six of the cruise you arrive at Tallin, capital of Estonia, right on the Gulf of Finland and with an old case that is World Heritage. A beauty. Here you stay from 9 am to 4 pm The next day you spend it sailing and on the 8th you are back in Copenhagen. As the transfer is included, you will be taken to the airport from where you return to Madrid or Barcelona.
MSC Opera ship is from 2004. It is a simple boat with many windows and an elegant style. It has two main restaurants, 27-square-meter suites with balconies and on the high decks, to enjoy better views. There are interior double cabins, exterior double cabins, with double balcony and double suites. It also has a spa and virtual reality games among its most recent upgrades.
The prices for these MSC Baltic Sea cruises are the following:
- July 23: 869 euros (inside cabin), 1059 (outside cabin), 1169 euros (cabin with balcony) and 2199 euros (suites).
- August 6: 1219 euros (inside cabin) and 1369 euros for the outside cabin. The other two are complete.
- August 20: only the interior cabins remain for 1119 euros.
Pullmatur cruises on the Baltic Sea
This cruise company also offers the best of the Baltic Sea on an enchanting voyage of 8 days and 7 nights. Depart Rostock, Germany and arrive in Helsinki. The cruise is the ship Pullmatur Monarch and the countries to know are Finland, Russia, Estonia, Sweden and Germany. The promotional price is 799 euros per person with flights included, although if we talk about August it goes up a bit: 1049 euros.
What is the itinerary? Parts of Rostock, one of the main ports of Germany on the Baltic Sea, with medieval features between walls and old churches. Here you stay two days because the third is absolutely navigation. On the fourth day you get to Stockholm, a city built on fourteen islands at the mouth of a long in the sea. On day five it will meet you at Tallin, World Heritage and capital of Estonia while on day six the cruise arrives at San Petersburgo.
In this beautiful Russian city, the ship stays for a couple of days since the Pullmatur cruise ship arrives at Helsinki. What type of boat is the Pullmatur Monarch? It has a casino, library, duty-free shops, a theater, day and night shows, parties, a disco and a special club for the little ones that takes care of entertaining them while the grown-ups have fun.
It is a cruise that has Spa and offers WiFi on board (There is a package with free minutes but you must book before online). There are also jacuzzis, sauna and beauty salon. For the more active there is rock climbing, gym and ping pong tables, basketball court and lovely swimming pools. In terms of gastronomy, breakfast is complete and spectacular, there are several à la carte restaurants where you can have lunch and dinner. If you are a vegetarian or cannot eat with gluten or lactose, there are no problems. The menu adapts.
Royal Caribbean Cruise 2016
What do you think 7 days in Scandinavia and Russia aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise? The ship in question is the Serenade of the Seas and the port of departure is Copenhagen. The tour includes Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn and Saint Petersburg.
The first day the cruise departs from Denmark, the second is all navigation and the third day you arrive at the port of Stockholm, in Sweden. You arrive at 9 am and leave at 5 pm so there is time to walk around this city, its beautiful old town and its shops, restaurants and museums. The ship sails through the night and arrives at Tallin, Estonia, at 9:30 am The old city is a World Heritage Site so it is a very beautiful medieval spectacle. At 5:30 you say goodbye to Talinn and sail until you arrive, the next day at 7 am at St. Petersburg.
On the 7th you are reaching Helsinki at 7 in the morning but the stay is shorter than in the other cities because the cruise departs at 2 pm again. The rest of the day is sailing and the next day at 7 am you arrive at Copenhagen again.
What does this Royal Caribbean cruise include? Accommodation, inflight entertainment, children's programs and luxury facilities with gym, theaters, cinemas and restaurants, as well as swimming pools. The price is reduced to 998 USD per person and it is a price that by hiring it now is maintained until next year.
