Malecon Habanero
Today we will visit some beautiful seawalls in the world. Let's start the tour in the Maltese Scenic Boardwalk, located in the port city of Manta, in Ecuador. This boardwalk is considered one of the greatest attractions of the city, and offers extraordinary views of the sea.
Undoubtedly one of the most famous is the Malecon Habanero, located in the city of Havana, in Cuba. The boardwalk has a wide six-lane avenue and a very long wall that extends over the entire north coast of the city for a stretch of 8 kilometers. The boardwalk dates from 1901, and is one of the most visited meeting places in the Cuban capital.
In the city of Lima, capital of Peru, we find the Malecon Cisneros, also known as Malecón de Miraflores because it perches in the Miraflores district. This boardwalk is ideal for walking, skating, biking or simply enjoying the wonderful sunsets over the cliff, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Along the boardwalk we will find a variety of parks, one of the best known is the Parque del Amor, a romantic park, where lovers go.
In Mexico, we recommend visiting the Boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta, considered one of the most beautiful rides in the nation. This iconic boardwalk runs along the bay in the downtown area of Puerto Vallarta. It is worth noting that since 1936 it has been considered a historical monument.
Also in Mexico is the Malecon of Mazatlan, In Mazatlan. It is one of the longest piers in the world as it has an extension of 21 kilometers.
