Isla Mágica is a theme park located in Seville and it was one of the first urban theme parks in the world, since the vast majority are located far from the cities, in secluded places. This park has grown over time and nowadays it not only has attractions, but also has an aquatic area.

How to get to Isla Mágica
This theme park is located in the urban area of Seville, on the well-known Isla de la Cartuja. Just five minutes on foot is the historic center of the city, so it can be reached in a short time if we are staying in this area. In ten minutes by car it is possible to reach Seville airport, so the theme park is really well located.
Thematic areas
This park is inspired by the discovery of America and was inaugurated in 1997. Some facilities from Expo 92 were used for its creation. Within the park there are six separate themed zones and an aquatic zone. The aquatic enclosure was released in 2014, being the most recent area.
Seville, Port of the Indies
This area is Inspired by XNUMXth century Seville with people who dress periodically. There are two reproductions of caravels that you can enter. The Magic Carousel is a beautiful vintage-style merry-go-round with two floors that was at the expo. The Challenge is a controlled drop ride. With La Travesía you can take a boat trip around the lake area. In the part of the Buccaneers you can enjoy shooting with water pistols in fun battles. There are several restaurants, with one serving Andalusian tapas and another serving Italian food.
America Gate
In this space is the Fort of San Felipe, in which musical shows are held. At night there is another show in the amphitheater area of the lake. It has the anaconda attraction, one of the most popular, a water roller coaster. The Potosí Train is a family roller coaster and on the Barbarroja Ship you can ride a rocking boat. In this area there are playgrounds and also several restaurants and shops.
Amazon
The Amazon is inspired by this incredible jungle, being a very green place. Iguazú is one of the most fun attractions, with a large raft that goes down a water slide. The Jaguar is an inverted roller coaster. Llamas are a children's attraction and Topetazú are children's bumper cars.
The Pirates' Den
This is the place of the pirates of Isla Mágica, one of the favorite areas for children. Captain Balas is an interactive tour with laser guns. In Dimension 4 you can enjoy the 3D effect. In Los Náufragos you travel through a barrel. In Los Toneles you can spin them at high speed.
The Fountain of Youth
This is the place perfect for little kids, since it is a place created for them. The Cayman Bailón is a small water roller coaster and the Chrysalis is a merry-go-round. The Jumping Frog is a mountain with free fall and in Rueda Primavera you can enjoy a children's wheel.
Eldorado
En El Dorado you can enjoy The Flight of the Falcon, hanging chairs that fly in circles. In the Orinoco Rapids a raft trip is made in the style of rafting.
Magic Water
This is the most recent area to be incorporated into the theme park, which has created a water park within the space. The Magic Water area it is the ideal place to enjoy during the summer season. There are places for everyone, such as the Anillas Reef, in which you must cross a pool passing through the rings and testing your strength. The Pool Reef is a pool for everyone and the Splash Reef is a small pool for children. There are other spaces such as the Relax Reef or the zip line that complete this part with water. The Island of Slides is one of its most incredible parts, with huge slides that flow into the pool area. The Mini Paraíso is a shallow pool with slides for children. Everyone can relax in the Playa Quetzal area with a mock beach and swell pool. The trip ends with Río Lento, a small river in which you can travel by float.
