Monkeys, tobacco and alcohol in Gibraltar

Located at the southernmost point of the peninsula, Gibraltar It is a rocky rock located on the north shore of the strait that joins the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Today the strait is a naval base and area, as well as a fiscal paraiso camouflaged as a financial center and a nuclear submarine repair shop. The strong tourist commitment that the rock leaders promoted years ago has made the city an increasingly lonely destination among Spaniards.

1.How to get there:
-A few months ago, Iberia inaugurated its new Madrid-Gibraltar line and although the company announced that since last December 16 it would make a daily flight to the rock, the reality is quite different.
-From Algeciras: Buses depart approximately every 40 minutes from Algeciras station to the same land border with Spain.
-Annex: If you travel by car it is advisable to leave it in La Línea or San Roque and access Gibraltar on foot. Border lines for cars can get endless.

2.Where to sleep: Stay in Spain and thus brighten the day for the hoteliers of the Campo de Gibraltar, despite everything I leave you the data of a Gibraltarian hotel.
-rock hotel: 3 stars, 117 euros per night, double room,

3.What to see: Gibraltar is not a city with a large important architectural complex, despite everything there is somewhere worth visiting:
-El Peñón: The most significant of the city. On foot or by road. If you decide to go up with your private car, the prices are quite high. A tourism with two people, approximately 30 euros. Monkeys may seem friendly but they are very aggressive. Carrying a bag of peanuts as a gift is not a good idea, as soon as you take it out of your pocket it will be ripped from your hands. These beloved animals also have a habit of removing balls and backpacks. By the way, apes are a protected species, so no matter how much they drive you crazy, you are not afraid to hit them or the fine can be curious. Don't forget to visit the museum, the caves and the old underground passage built in the Second World War.
-Alameda Botanical Garden: Absolutely majestic. It is an obligatory point, the most beautiful place on the rock.
-Faro: Unbeatable views. Morocco seems to be at hand.
-The Governor's House: The most significant building in the city. What in any other part of the world would be just another building, in Gibraltar is an architectural treasure. The changing of the guard is a magnet for tourists
-Cathedral: The central courtyard is worth seeing.
-Shops: Make no mistake, people go to Gibraltar for this. Main Stret is the shopping street. Especially perfumeries, liquor stores, tobacconists and electronics. Everything is cheaper than in Spain.
-Casemates Square: To eat. Variety of junk food made in the USA. Ideal for tourists. In summer you can be waiting half an hour to order a hamburger.

4.Going out for drinks: In winter the march is rather youthful, those over 18 years old are away attending university. But in summer things change. The English pubs, the typical beer and the hospitality of the llanitas deserve a summer spree on the rock. If you choose to party on national soil, you will also find Gibraltarians in nearby towns. On September 10, National Day (photo) is celebrated, the biggest nationalist holiday on the rock.

5. Data of interest:
-For 2,5 euros a day, you can take the tourist bus as many times as you want. Highly recommended
-Alcohol and tobacco are cheaper than in Spain. You can take out a carton of tobacco per person, although border control on foot is almost non-existent.
-English food is not very good, to be frank, it is very bad, so I would recommend filling your stomach in the dozens of fast food restaurants that flood the city.

Regarding going out for drinks in Gibraltar, I don't know what to say to you and the hospitality of the llanitas I have not seen anything, the only thing that I have seen a lot of bassism and badass there is only one open disco and that is Savanah the Underground and the Sax closed its doors

Look, some friends have told me that to climb the rock I have several options or go up by car that would cost 10 euros (I don't know if per person or 10 euros in total), go up by cable car that would be cheaper (I don't know how much ) but the problem is that later we would have to go down on foot and finally the buses but that is very expensive (25 euros per person) I would like you to tell me if these prices are real and which option is more recommended for me and for my pocket .GRAX !!!
