The old town of Passau brings together some of the most picturesque places in the city, such as the Cathedral, Residence and Town Hall squares. Other highlights are St. Paul's Towers, Niedernburg Monastery, St. Michael's Church. Passau invites you to walk through its labyrinthine streets and the wonderful walks along the Danube and the Inn. In the famous "Dreiflüsseeck" the traveler will come to a fascinating natural spectacle: the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers.

Passau is also a city of museums, since it has many and of great diversity, such as the diocesan museum, which houses the treasure of the cathedral, the glass museum, the toy museum, the 'Castillo Boiotro' museum, the museum of the history of psychology and the museum of modern Art. Passau also owns a theater, called 'Redoute', where theatrical, musical and occasionally ballet, operas and operettas are offered.

The famous ludwigsstrasse and surrounding streets are part of the pedestrian zone of the city and it has countless shops and cafes framed by a pleasant Bavarian atmosphere. During the spring and summer season the traveler will be able to enjoy the wonderful lakes in the surroundings of the city.
