In Argentina there is a theme park called La Ciudad de los Niños. It was built many decades ago and reproduces a city, but in miniature. And it predates Disneyland. It seems that it is not the only one because Portugal also has a «city of children»: Portugal two Little Ones.
Portugal two Little Ones is a theme park that is in Coimbra and as in the Argentine case there are miniature houses, monuments and pavilions, built on a children's scale. It was founded in 1940 and its architect was Cassiana Branco who did it with the idea of paying tribute to the history, the people and the Portuguese influence in the world.
Here in the Portugal two Little OnesWe find many of the most famous monuments in Portugal and the world to scale. There are thus different sections and museums. There are parts dedicated to the Azores and Madeira, another dedicated to Coimbra, a Clothing Museum, a Naval Museum, another Furniture Museum. There is also a small train that goes around the park and a cinematic show.
Of course, in this children's theme park in Portugal there is a cafeteria and a souvenir shop. It must be borne in mind that the construction is already its age and that the concept of the theme park today is different, but that is precisely why such a place continues to be fascinating for children.
