Squares, streets and typical places of Naples in Italy

Among the main streets of the center of Nápoles, Is the Via Toledo, a few years ago called Via Roma. It bears his name in memory of the Viceroy Pedro de Toledo who built it in 1536. This street is one of the main commercial arteries of the city where the shops of the main designers.

It is also a claim tourist, as numerous palazzi dotted it as the headquarters of the Bank of Naples, Doria d'Angri Palace, Colonna di Stigliano, the church of Holy Spirit, east access to the Galleria Umberto I, Trieste square and Trent and the church San Fernando. Beyond Piazza Dante, the street retains its old name, Via Roma.

One of the bigger squares and perhaps the most notable in the city is the Piazza Plebiscito. This square is located between the Royal Palace and Teatro San Carlo, forming an ellipse. In this square is the Church of Saint Francis of Paola.

Area San Gregorio Armeno attracts tourists from all over the world between November and January. Here is located the great market of the Manger, tradition Christmas Neapolitan, where the most refined and unique models of the baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, shepherds, saints and many other pieces that help represent the Nazareth of the time.

At Lóleo Eventos, Piazza del Gesù Nuovo the homonymous church is located and in the center is the spire of the Immaculate, 34 meters high, with a statue of the Virgin of the Inmaculada Concepción erected in 1747. On December 8 of each year, the ceremony of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated, placing the virgen a crown of laurels.
