Lagundri Bay (Indonesia)
In the last decades Lagundri Bay has become one of the reference destinations on a trip to Indornesia for surfing. Lagundri Bay is located on the island of Nias in western Sumatra.
Following the 2004 tsunami and the following year's earthquake, there was a change in geography that caused Lagundri Bay to transform into a near-perfect wave as the reef rose nearly half a meter. Being a bay, it has two point breaks but the main one is The Point, the one that starts from the west side, which is suitable for all levels: from beginners to experts.
Here you can find a magnificent right wave throughout the year, although the best time to surf is from May to September, when the swell increases in size to almost 3 meters.

Valdearenas Beach (Cantabria, Spain)
