Before introducing you to the beaches, we must indicate that in Vieques all the beaches have 2 names, one in English and the other in Spanish. Having clarified this, let's get to know the first beach on our route: Sun bay o Sombe. It is the most visited and popular beach on the island. You will be delighted to know that this beach has all the services for you to spend a pleasant time. It is worth noting a car park, toilets, showers, telephones, camping, garbage cans and water fountains. The beach itself has a curved shape where the landscape shows us sand, palm trees and the sea.

Second let's travel to the Caracas Beach o Red Beach. It is a beach recently opened to the public as previously bombing practices carried out by the United States were carried out here. Since it was opened to the public the Caracas Beach It has been a resounding success as its white sand in combination with the turquoise water is really a pleasure for the eyes. It is also recognized as an excellent destination for surfing and snorkelling.

It's time to go to Manuelhere o Blue Beach. It is a long and extensive beach, with soft sand. It is important to mention that you can park your car here, if the parking lot is not full because it is small. It is a beach not very well known to tourists, however those lovers of snorkelling will not hesitate to spend a pleasant day here.

In the western part of Vieques we will find the Green beach o Green beach, so called because it is surrounded by mangroves. In this way you will notice that it is a special beach for adventurers and lovers of landscapes. It is a small and isolated beach so you can enjoy the silence and peace that you long for. The dense and green foliage will accompany you on your journey as you may find yourself alone on the beach or in the company of your partner. Of course, we recommend that you avoid staying until sunset as the beach becomes quite windy and the sand flies around you, becoming a very uncomfortable situation.
