Chamarel Falls and the Land of 7 Colors in Mauritius

This time we are going to travel to Mauritius to know the Chamarel Falls and the Land of the 7 Colors. In this island nation located on the southeast coast of Africa and southwest of the Indian Ocean, it invites us to discover a couple of natural wonders. The first of these is the Chamarel Falls, which are three waterfalls that fall thinly through hundreds of meters from a cliff. These falls are considered to be the highest waterfalls in Mauritius. Normally the visits here are made with small groups as you have to ascend a steep slope, full of mud, so you have to be careful not to slip because a fall would be fatal.

On the other hand, we can see the colored dunes formed by pulverized volcanic rocks, which create a visual effect of 7 different colors (red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow). The most unique aspect of sands is the fact that if you take all the colors and mix them together, the colors separate creating layers of colors. It is also worth noting that there is no visible erosion.

It is important to note that it is not allowed to walk through the Land of the 7 Colors, in order to maintain its supernatural softness.

If you were looking to discover unusual destinations, there is no doubt that you should come here to surprise all your friends with your travel photographs.
