Normally when a destination is visited and it is not known, a reference point is usually taken on the skyline of the place in question and one of the most important reference points in the city, although it has many, is the Titan Crane or Titan Crane, although this is not exactly in Glasgow but is in a town called Clydebank.

It is one of the largest cranes in the world and is over a hundred years old, exactly 106, and was originally built for the John Brown & Company Shipyard, the largest shipbuilding company in the world in 1907 and was intended to move heavy machinery.

It is 46 meters high and offers everyone who visits it impressive views, ideal for taking photos, but you can also see much further beyond thanks to the spyglasses it has installed. And if you are one of those who are into adventure, you can jump from it since not too long ago it allows the realization of bungee jumping. Remember that during the winter it is not open so if you want to visit it the best time is during the summer.

It has not operated as a crane for many years and at the end of its operation as such it was decided to keep it thanks to its large size and in 1988 it was classified as a historic structure. Already in 2005 a restoration process began to become part of the Naval Museum from the city and shortly after its new life as a tourist attraction began.
