If you want to discover and enjoy the best landscapes of Scotland on a train trip, do not hesitate to buy your tickets to get on the carriages of the West Highland Line, which offers a charming journey between Fort William and Mallaig, in the heart of the Highlands.

It is a breathtaking scenic route, a scenic train from which to marvel at rugged mountains and secluded lakes, stretches of jagged and raging coastline, and the omnipresent image of the snow-capped summit of the Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Great Britain.

A particularly fascinating section is the one that runs over the old stones of the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The line and the steam train are so pleasing to the eye that they will make us remember el hogwarts express in the Harry Potter movies.

The trip lasts about an hour and a half, a total of 67 kilometers that have no waste and at the end of which the town of Mallaig awaits us, where we can put a finishing touch to our excursion walking through its cozy port and savoring some plate of delicious seafood, typical of this place and these waters.
