As in all destinations in the world, we will always find the best to visit in terms of the broad term of tourism and other things, which do not usually appear in travel guides as the least recommended areas to visit. In this series of posts I am rowing against the current to bring you some of the most dangerous places in United States, because I think that like all things, not only do you have to highlight the good of a certain place, you don't think so.
This time we go to the state of South Carolina, to the city of Greenville, where the neighborhood of Woodside, considered one of the most dangerous in America and also one of the poorest.
About 70% of Woodside's children live in poverty and there are more single women than in any other area in the United States. Its violent crime rate is 86,38 per 1.000 inhabitants, and our chances of experiencing a problem in this area is one in twelve.
In Missouri is the city of San Luis (St. Louis) and one of the most dangerous neighborhoods is in the PColumbus loop, where crime is more prevalent than anyone could imagine.
According to municipal information, many of the inhabitants of this neighborhood have gone through the jail and the reformatory and many of them have also visited the morgue without having barely reached the age of 30 in many cases. The violent crime rate is around 67,75 per 1.000 inhabitants and the probability that we will suffer a violent mishap in this area of the city is one in fifteen.
