University of Valencia Scholarship
The University of Valencia has already opened a travel bag and plans to open future registrations for two more.
One of them, and with a term currently open, are the travel scholarships for students of the university itself for volunteer activities in development cooperation projects that are developed in countries with an impoverished organization. It can be said that it is like those others in which we talk to you in this article, and that you can read if you have not already done so.
In this volunteer scholarship, the maximum endowment of each one of them would cover both accommodation and transportation expenses, depending on the amount of the selected destination:
- North Africa, 570 euros.
- Sub-Saharan Africa, 1.375 euros.
- Asia, 1125 euros.
- Latin America, up to 1.375 euros.
These future volunteer scholarship recipients would develop their activity during a minimum period of 3 weeks between October 1, 2015 (last year) and September 30 of this year.
There are also two more types of travel bags (even with the registration period closed):
- One will be for students of the University of Valencia who carry out official studies in their own centers and which are available in two application deadlines. With this type of scholarship, the University of Valencia aims to facilitate the mobility of its students to congresses and courses in other parts of the world, of the subject of their official studies.
- The latest travel bag is intended for those students of the Master in Development Cooperation to carry out their internships in international destinations linked to the International Practicum.
InterRail Global Scholarship
As we indicated in the title of this section, these scholarships are offered by the InterRail Global Foundation. They consist of the following:
- Scholarships of $442 a young people between 17 and 25 years who are willing to travel during 4 weeks by 30 European countries.
- The main objective will be to research a topic focused on mobility in Europe and on the railways that respect the environment.
- Recipients of these InterRail passports must have permanently lived in European Union countries, Russia and Turkey.
TravelBird Scholarship
Those of TravelBird offer a scholarship to those who are university students from anywhere in the world and want to do their university internships in Amsterdam between 3 and 6 months duration. The end of this trip will be a creative project in which the personal experience lived on said trip is explained.
Su deadline to register for said scholarship ends on May 31, and you will have to wait until June 15 to find out who is the chosen one. The financial aid is $3.000 in total, in addition to a MacBook Pro for own use and a monthly benefit of 350 euros to cover the diets and possible local trips. It's not bad at all!
If you are interested in said scholarship you only have to answer one question: What has been your most inspiring travel experience? You can answer by video, photography or writing that does not exceed 1.000 words.
Peace Revolution Scholarship
The organization Peace revolution ofrece scholarships in Thailand. The duration of the same is comprised between August 11 and 24, a total of 14 days of training in which you will dedicate yourself body and soul (never better said the latter) to seek inner peace through meditation exercises and personal growth and emotional.
The amount of the scholarship will cover part of the flight to Thailand, being said accommodation, meals and local transfers, totally free.
Some terms for this scholarship they are:
- Can be requested until April's 30.
- Although anyone can request it, the amount referred to the part of the flight will only be for those between 20 and 32 years old.
- They must have a good level of English Both spoken and written.
- They must have completed at least 42 days of a course online personal development and have done at least two practical proposals for the dissemination of peace in the world.
- Be optimistic, open-minded and leadership people.
