Today we leave you with everything related to services and safety on the beaches and we will name you some Blue Flag beaches that we can visit.

Safety and services on Blue Flag beaches

  • PResence of certified lifeguards on the beach during the bathing season in charge of rescue and lifeguard work and / or suitable rescue equipment and clearly marked on the beach, including instructions on how to use it, as well as immediate access to a public telephone.
  • First aid kit on the beach, easily identifiable and accessible.
  • Signaling-control of specific areas for activities incompatible with bathing (surfing, kite surfing, boats, water skates, etc.). If there are protected spaces in the area surrounding the beach, the necessary measures must be adopted to prevent them from being damaged as a result of the practice of such activities or the incursion of vehicles into said spaces, from the sea or from the beach.
  • Plans of local emergency and / or regional with which to deal with accidents or ecological disasters
  • Access easy and safe.
  • There must be at least one point of drinking water on the beach.
  • One of the Blue Flag beaches in the municipality, at least, must have access ramps to the beach and toilets for people with disabilities, except in those cases where the topography clearly does not allow it.
  • Must expose a beach map indicating the location of the different facilities and services.
