One of the trips that I want to do and that I am planning is the one that will take me to edinburgh, a city with a lot of charm that has many corners to discover. In addition to the places that are totally essential, such as its castle, there are others that must be noted to keep a list that must not be missed.

We are going to talk about the places to see in a visit to edinburgh, those spaces that we want to visit and enjoy if we are lucky enough to set foot in this ancient city. The Scottish capital is a place full of charm, with those old houses in the old city, known as Auld Reekie, or old chimney, because of the number of chimneys that were formerly. It is a place where it rains a lot, but this rain is undoubtedly part of its charm.

This museum is one of the most interesting in the city, and in it you can travel through all the history of scotland to the present day. It is in a modern building with six floors in which different themes are distributed. There are all kinds of objects and wings, so it is undoubtedly a visit that can please everyone.

Also known as the Palace of Holyroodhouse is the official residence of the Queen of England in Scotland. You can enjoy a guided tour where we can see the rooms for the ceremonies and the royal apartments, the tapestries and paintings and all the Baroque-style details of the interior, which will not leave anyone indifferent. Of course, in case the Queen is visiting Edinburgh, we will have to leave the visit for the next one, as there are only guided tours in case she is absent.

This Royal Botanical Garden is a place of experimentation with nature, created in 1670 by two doctors who used medicinal plants. It has 28 hectares and with different areas differentiated. The Chinese Garden or the Wooded Garden are some of those parts dedicated to a specific vegetation. It is one of people's favorite places to relax and stroll, and certainly a must for nature lovers.
