There are 78 marked slopes and up to 138 kilometers of skiing and snowboarding, as well as 7 kilometers of Nordic skiing. There are areas for beginners, and the slopes in general are not very complicated. However, there are more complicated slopes like Escornacabres or Manaud, for the most expert.

By the time you finish skiing, it is also possible to enjoy the rest of the facilities, as there are restaurants, cafes and playgrounds for different ages. In the environment you can also go on nature excursions, and you should not miss the small mountain towns that stand out for the Romanesque style of their oldest buildings, such as Salardú or Unha. Just 14 kilometers away is the municipality of Viella, which is the most important in the area.

This is the Aramón-Formigal ski resort, located in the Valley of Tena. There are 97 slopes and 137 kilometers for alpine skiing. However, what is most striking about this station is the large number of activities that there are, with a dog sled track, three ski cross tracks, one for snowmobiles, a snow bike circuit, an ice track for a go-kart circuit or an ice skating rink. For families there are always spaces such as nurseries, entertainment activities or a ski school.

In the surroundings of the station it is also possible to enjoy charming towns, such as Sallent de Gállego. It is a mountain town with beautiful stone houses and slate roofs. There are also natural spaces, such as the Ordesa y Monte Perdido Natural Park, or the French Pyrenees National Park when crossing the border.

From the north we go to the south, where the well-known Sierra Nevada station. Is the station with the highest altitude in all of Spain, with 3.282 meters, and also the southernmost in all of Europe, as it is located in Andalusia, just 30 kilometers from Granada. In this station there are 32 lifts and 119 marked slopes, as well as 5 kilometers of cross-country skiing. There are also facilities for children, since people usually go as a family, with a nursery and a playground.

This city has the Alhambra and the Generalife as main monuments, which recall the time of Al-Andalus. This station is much more modest and smaller than the previous ones, but it stands out for being one of the largest in the northwestern part of Spain. It is the station where people from Castilla y León or Asturias go. It has 31 kilometers of skiable slopes divided into four sectors. In addition, there are 31 ski and snowboard slopes, 16 ski lifts, a kindergarten and a ski school. What makes it special is that they organize fun climbing routes on ice and snow.

In this Alto Porma region You can enjoy a very beautiful natural environment all year round, in which many activities are carried out. From bike rides to rock climbing, horse riding, hiking or water sports in the Porma reservoir. Although for this you have to wait for good weather, while enjoying the ski resort.
