Hong Kong it is one of the most fascinating cities in the world. I love it because it is not only about skyscrapers but about water everywhere and islands all around, ferry trips, beaches, good shopping and tasty cuisine. But I have said that there are skyscrapers here and it is true. A stormy day, and Hong Kong does know about storms, it is not for everyone to be on the upper floors but it is worth it. Tall buildings there are really many but today I will talk about the three tallest buildings in Hong Kong:
. International Trade Center: This building has a height of 484 meters with 118 floors where there are offices and a hotel. It was completed last year and is the fourth tallest building in the world and the third tallest building in China. It is built on top of Kowloon Station and is part of Union Square. The hotel is a branch of the Ritz-Carlton chain and occupies floors 102-118. The world's tallest pool and bar are on the top floor of everything. Can you imagine it? The observation deck is not that high, it is on the 100th floor and is called Sky 100. It is scheduled to open this April 2011.
. Two International Finance Center: This building is 416 meters high and has 88 floors full of offices. It was built in 2003 and is the seventh tallest building in the world and until last year the tallest in the city. It is actually made up of two skyscrapers, the IFC Mall and HK's Four Season, but Tower 2 is the second tallest building in the city. It has 86 stores some undeclared floors whose presence is considered a good omen in Chinese culture. This building is occupied by financial entities
. Center Square: This building is 374 meters high and has 78 floors in which there are only offices. It is the eleventh tallest building in the world. It has a triangular shape because in this way you can enjoy more of the view of the port and gain internal space.
