The Córdoba Fair begins today, May 21 and it will last until next Saturday the 28th. Just a week where not only Cordoba men and women will be able to enjoy their parties but It will also host hundreds of tourists who make their way there day by day.

The Cordoba Fair is celebrated in commemoration of Our Lady of Health. Is in the Arenal enclosure where horsemen, gypsies and flamingos meet year after year in the different streets of the fair. Its booths (placed in an orderly manner and distributed through different streets of the enclosure) are mostly public, so that all visitors, both Cordovan and tourists, have the doors open to enter those they want.

All the Royal Stables of Córdoba, is the place chosen to demonstrate this Equestrian Art Show. In addition to seeing Spanish horses, you can enjoy the presence of the Equestrian Squad Palmas de Peñaflor de Chile.

This Chilean squad has been showing Chilean traditions through a great show for more than 15 years, the Chilean horse, the huaso, both in Chile and abroad. His show constitutes a journey through its rich geography and culture, which features the Chilean horse, a unique breed in the world. In the equestrian show the horses dance to the sound of cuecas and tunes.

Bullfighting Fair in the bullring of Los Califas

The bullfighting fair will offer a total of four fertilizer festivities (two bullfights, a bullfight and a bullfight without picadors) between Thursday 26 and Sunday 29 May, starting all to 19.00 hours.

  • Thursday May 26: Novillada without picadors: 6 steers from the Zalduendo herd for the Cordovan bullfighters: Romero Campos, Carlos Jordán, Carlos Blázquez, Fernando Navarro, Rocío Romero and Juan A. Alcalde “El Rubio”.
  • Friday, May 27: Bullfight: 6 bulls from the Núñez del Cuvillo cattle ranch for: Morante de la Puebla, Julián López “El Juli” and Alejandro Talavante.

Bullfight: Commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Finito de Córdoba alternative: 6 bulls from the Fuente Ymbro, Jandilla, Núñez del Cuvillo, Garcigrande, Torrestrella and La Palmosilla herds for: Juan Serrano “Finito de Córdoba” as the only sword. Outstanding: David Saleri and Manuel Carbonell.
  • Sunday May 29. Run of rejones: 6 Bulls from the Fermín Bohórquez cattle ranch for: Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza, Manuel Manzanares and Lea Vicens.
