5 beautiful natural landscapes

Our planet has beautiful natural landscapes that, hopefully, they are preserved in time. It depends on us so we must be vigilant and take the problems of climate change very seriously.

Today we have chosen five beautiful landscapes that you can visit. Some are more popular than others, but all will take your breath away.

Zhanjgiajie National Park

This is one of the most beautiful China natural parks. Here visitors can climb, take photos, go hiking. There are four areas, to the south, to the east, to the north and the west. To the south is the Golden Whip Stream, the closest sector to the city of Zhangjiajie, to the east is the city of Suoxiyu, to the north is Tianzi Mountain and to the west Yangjiajie. Each of these areas are special and have their own attractions.

La Tianzi Mountain It is famous for its mist and clouds, the most popular and developed part is Yuanjiajie, Laowuchang It is not developed and it is a very natural sector, Yangjiajie is the most recently discovered part but also the steepest; the Golden Whip Stream It is easily accessible and a very relaxed area and finally the Yellow Stone village is quite similar to Yuanjiajie, but less striking.

Visiting Yuanjiajie takes about three hours and has the main attraction of the park, the Avatar Mountain Hallelujah. There are always a lot of people, but especially in high season which is July, August 1, May and the first week of October. The mountain is steep and has a platform surrounded by towering peaks, deep valleys, and strangely shaped rocks. There is a fantastic bridge that goes under the mountain.

Also Mihun Tai, the platform of the Lost Souls, about 800 meters inside Yuanjiaji, with a zigzagging path to the top and a very mysterious scenery, and the Hundred Dragons Elevator, 335 meters high, inside the mountain and with three glass cars that take passengers to see the Soldiers Spirit Gate.

Impressive! Then another two hours takes you to visit the 1182-meter-high Tianzi Mountain, Dian Jiang Tai, a canyon full of clouds and rocky pillars, the Yubi Feng Pagoda, the Ten Mile train that takes you to a stream crossing the river. valley and much more.

Zhangjiajie National Park is in the Scenic Area, about 40 minutes by car from the center of Zhangjiajie. The entrance to the park is 248 yuan. If you plan to go through it all then you have to invest between two and three days.

Pamukkale

Following the line of breathtaking landscapes, almost surreal, is Pamukkale, in Türkiye. In Turkish the name means "Cotton castle", and in addition to the petrified ponds and waterfalls that you see there are also Greco-Roman ruins, those of the city of Hierapolis. Set Pamukkale - Hierapolis is a World Heritage Site and millions of people visit it every year.

All the travertine terraces They are a common phenomenon all over the world but I think these are special. They have formed pools of hot springs terraced Fantastic colors and have the perfect ancient ruin setting. You can bathe as the Romans once did, the water is 36ºC and rich in minerals, and you can swim between Roman columns.

Pamukkale is in anatolia, a few kilometers from the popular Kusadasi cruise port, so most of its visitors are cruise ship people who cruise the Aegean and Mediterranean. The best option to visit the area is to rent a car because it is still three hours from Kusadasi and four from Anatlya and Marmaris and five from Bodrum. Otherwise there are buses that take about 40 minutes from Denizli.

If you don't like crowds then the best option is to spend the night in the village of Pamukkale and go exploring early in the morning. You can also go in winter, from November to March, on weekdays. The visit is convenient that you start at the south entrance. You cannot wear shoes or sandals because the idea is not to erode anything, so the shoes go to the bag. Obviously, swimsuit. The visit includes dips in several pools to finally finish in the oldest pool on the highest terrace.

Pamukkale - Hierapolis is open from November to March from 6 am to 6 pm, and between April and October from 30 am to midnight. General admission costs TL 6 and that of the old pool TL 25. Keep in mind that it is open from November to March from 32 am to 8:5 pm and from April to October from 50 am to 8:7 pm.

Iguazu Falls

This natural landscape is in Argentina, South America, within the Iguazú National Park, in the province of Misiones. The jumping system is composed of 275 waterfalls hidden in the Paranaense Jungle, about 17 kilometers from the mouth of the Iguazú River in the waters of the Paraná River, a triple border point between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.

The falls were formed by a volcanic eruption, They measure 2.7 kilometers wide and the height ranges from 60 to 82 meters with an average water flow of 1800 cubic meters per second. Two thirds of the falls are on the Argentine side, so for me the best visit is on this side, although the view of the Brazilian side is breathtaking. Advice? Cross over and go.

The best point in the visit to the Argentine side is to arrive at the Devil's throat, an eternal abyss 82 meters high and 150 wide by 700 long. It is U-shaped and the waterfall, seen from the nearby platform, is something to experience.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the park ticket offices in Argentine pesos or cards. The park is open every day at 8 am and can be entered until 4,30 pm but closes at 6 pm. The park is large and you can visit it in two days, so if it is your idea when you leave at the end of the first one, you revalidate the ticket and get a 50% discount on the ticket for the next consecutive day. You have to go with a document or passport because depending on whether you are Argentine or not, this price varies.

Pulpit Rock

This wonder is in Norway and it is nothing but a very steep cliff that is 604 meters high and towers over the Lysefjorden fjord. The top of the cliff It has the peculiarity of being flat and measuring 25 by 25 meters so it is a natural observation deck.

Preikestolen is in western Norway, in the district of Rogaland and only 25 kilometers from one of the largest cities in the country, Stavanger. You get to the cliff either by car or bus from this city or by ferry from Tau. The climb is not entirely easy and at times it can be steep and not very easy in winter and spring with snow and ice.

Another trail takes four to five hours from Bratelli, one of the tourist ferry stops from Lauvvik. Or it can also be reached by boat from the fjord itself, all year round. The truth is that the climb is a bit demanding and must be taken into account. Guided tours take place every day from April to October.

Marble Caves

These fantastic caves are in Chile, South America. They are known in Spanish under the name of Marble Chapels and they are in General Carrera Lake, on a peninsula of pure marble, in the Chilean patagonia. It is basically three formations, the Cathedral, the Chapel and the Cave, which form a phenomenal set.

Geologists say that they were formed six thousand years ago from the force of the waves, washing the stone over and over again, giving strange shapes and turns to the walls that, thanks to the reflection of the lake's waters, remain blue of various intensity. Getting here is only possible by boat, on tours that operate every half hour if the weather permits.

The best time of year to visit is between September and February when the ice on the lake melts and the water takes on a beautiful turquoise hue. The ferries leave from Chile Chico and if you are a little more adventurous you can go kayaking. The guides take you there and once in the place you can wander through caves and tunnels with bright marble and vibrant colors. Much more if the sunlight bounces, then there are blue and yellow reflections.
